This famous, "Come and Take It," Texas flag was flown by
the citizens of Gonzales, Texas in October, 1835. The flag was raised
to dare the Mexican army to come and repossess the cannon the Mexicans
had given to the citizens of Gonzales for protection against hostile Indians.
The battle that ensued began the Texas Revolution.
1. Two "new in the box" Springfield Armory XD models. These pistols are fastly becoming more popular than the Glock and for good reason. The XD models have a very smooth controllable action and come with a grip safety giving them a much needed extra safety feature. a single action or model 1911 tightly for display at gun shows, photography,

3. The following are muzzle loading rifles and pistols I built and shot in competition over the period between 1968 and about 1985 including the first muzzle loading rifle I ever built. It shoots a .40 caliber round ball and was used without sights to win my first competitive match. Since I no longer shoot muzzle loaders and am getting up in age it is time they move on to steadier hands and sharper eyes.
4.
This is a really fine, unusual little traditional
half-stock rifle
in 36 caliber
I built for my second wife (bless her cheating soul) cut
from a beautiful piece of hard rock, tiger strip
sugar maple. The lock is precision made
Robbins
and the trigger is a traditional double set.
The fittings are solid brass, including octagon ramrod guides and the front
sight is a brass bead and the rear a Williams
adjustable. The barrel is a Douglas
24 1/2" straight 13/16" octagon
with a 60 degree crown. The
ramrod channel is not cut because to make this rifle as light as possible
I cut the stock to minimum dimensions so the ramrod you see is only for
looks. The main ramrod guide attached to the stock has a broken lug
where the pin ties it to the stock so the guide was glued in place with
epoxy. I could not get the broken off lug out of the stock to make the
repair like it should be done, hence the epoxy. This would be a terrific
rifle for the Annie Oakley in your life. This fine little percussion
rifle is priced for just about what the first class parts would cost....$550.00
plus
shipping.
4. One
Hawkin style 54 caliber percussion
rifle with a 1" G. R. Douglas 1 X 66 twist, 31" barrel, Harold Robbins
precision percussion lock, brass butt plate, double set
triggers, Williams rear aperture sight, and a Globe front. The wood on
this fine rifle is hard rock maple with a cast end cap. The markings on
top of the barrel are "G. R. Douglas 54" and "Alex H. Blaine" (my
name before switching my last and middle name). This rifle has not
been fired more than 50 rounds and is in excellent condition and will sell
for...$795.00 plus shipping.
5. About 25 unmarked
Brazilian slides made for a Colt contract back in the 1970's...$65.00
to $95.00. Some slides have had the cocking grooves ground off when
the markings were ground off the sides. Most have polymer coatings
in various colors which were used for Gun Kote color samples at shows.
These slides are sold as is but if you want the color changed and the cocking
grooves restored the cost will be considerably more.

9. New Buehler two piece blank Sako bases (B-2) for BSA....$35.00.
10. Remington
model 700 fully adjustable trigger.I do
not know the origin of this trigger; it could be a take-off or a match
grade trigger, but it is fully adjustable for weight, engagement and overtravel
housed in a steel body. Even the simplest Remington sells for $120.00 plus.
This trigger is priced at...$65.00.
