ENGRAVED, NICKEL PLATED US FIREARMS
This beautiful six-gun was created in 2008 for the same customer as the Blackhawk # 9. It is 75% deep relief engraved by Terry Theis complete with an eagle on the hammer. The polished nickel finish has had the deep relief background “inked” to make the magnificent engraving stand out. The grips are one piece elephant ivory with a Helfricht style steer head carved in deep relief on the right grip fitted and carved by Paul Persinger of El Paso, Texas. I did the custom work and coordinated the work. Total cost the customer for this unique custom six-shooter was $4,000.00 in 2008 and is not for sale.
United States Firearms Mfg. Co. (USFA) USFA Single Action Revolvers and Cylinders
United States Firearms Manufacturing Company is now “out of business.” The building is empty, the lights or out, phone lines disconnected and the property is sold. It is a shame this has had to happen to a first class firearms company making the finest guns in the world today, but I guess that’s the way it ends up sometimes.
We have a good supply of cylinders and parts, with the exception of birdshead hammers of which there are no more. We can sell a few of these parts or or use them to repair your guns, but we do not do warranty work. The “lifetime warranty” you purchased is not worth the paper it is written on if the company no longer exists.

Uberti Frame USFA’s
NOTE: The question I get asked most often is “Is my USFA one of the first prototypes built on a Uberti frame with Uberti parts?” If your USFA has a serial number “20,XXX, 21,XXX or 22,XXX through 22,500 or so, you have a USFA built on a Uberti frame and I do not believe it is worth as much as a high quality 100% USFA single action. Also, if you have a USFA with a six digit serial number beginning in the number 1 (one) you have a Uberti frame USFA.
As for the Rodeo models, any USFA Rodeo beginning with an “A” or “B” was built using some or all Uberti parts.
One sure way of knowing if your USFA receiver is a Uberti or a “made in USA” USFA is to look at the pivoting area of the loading gate when the loading gate is open. The Uberti frame loading gate has a gap at the three o’clock position and the USFA loading gate pivot area completely fills the area without a gap.

United States Firearms (USFA) is closed for good and the “lifetime factory warranty” is worthless, but we have some of parts and 53 years of expertise to accomplish any custom work you need or make any repair work necessary. We are not a warranty station and will charge at our regular hourly rate, but the work will be done with knowledge and skill.
Dual Cylinder Installation
Dual cylinder installation: If you would like to have a 45 ACP cylinder for your 45 Colt six-gun or a 44 special cylinder for your 44 WCF (44-40) you can send your frame in without the handle and cylinder (this allows you to ship US Mail as gun parts.) for fitting. The cost for this fitting service is $45.00 plus shipping. If you would like to attempt to fit the cylinder yourself the cost of the cylinder with an oversize bushing will be $395.00 plus $25.00 for the bushing and $20.00 USPS Flat Rate shipping.
There are three (3) 45 ACP cylinders left at $395.00. You can use the bushing from your 45 Colt cylinder or buy an oversize bushing and have it fitted to your USFA six-gun.
OEM & First Generation Replacement Cylinders
OEM (Original Equipment Manufactured for Colt single actions.) If you have a first or second generation Colt needing a new cylinder for restoration to original Colt specs or a caliber change I have new cylinders available in just about any caliber Colt made including 45 Colt, 44 WCF (44-40), 32 WCF (32-20), 44 special, and others. These OEM cylinders are blued. There are no OEM cylinders for Colt third generation single actions. Your cost for the cylinder and installation…$395.00 If you would like to attempt fitting the OEM cylinder yourself your cost for the cylinder and oversize bushing will be $375.00.
